Mural
Details to be given to Mr Hamilton regarding garden plans. Mrs Pedgrift is to get in touch with Lynne Baxter (Community Arts) who may be able to help out with mosaics.

Garden
Friends of Perth High School have very kindly donated £1000 towards the project. A small working committee is to be formed to discuss planning for the garden. Hopefully garden work will go ahead in May/June.

Litter
Campaign going ahead with all S1 classes - very successful. Pupils are making a huge impact to areas of the school with regular sweeping and tidying up. Campaign is going ahead with other classes throughout the school.

Energy Saving
‘Save It’ stickers in almost every room in the school. Mr Gordon Dick (Energy Officer) attended the meeting and gave us handouts on our energy statistics. Mrs Tattersfield produced a questionnaire for all staff. The response to this has been excellent, with lots of feedback from staff. Mr Dick is going to be invited to speak to all staff; he will explain how we can all save electricity/fuel and inform us of any measures he can take to help our situation.

Paper Recycling
This is going very well. The Pixie Prefects did an excellent job while the regular prefects were on exam leave. New handouts have been given to all Principal Teachers and Assistant Rectors regarding what should and should not be recycled after problems with cardboard and paper towels.

Healthy Eating
Mr Robertson to go back to Mr Illsley regarding our vending machines - very concerned about the contents. Mrs Pedgrift to meet with Mrs Hood (Senior Dining Lady) to discuss healthy eating issues in the dining hall.
