Climb Club Trips in 2013-14
Over the last two years climbers from PHS have enjoyed attending the winter bouldering league at Avertical World in Dundee. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend this year as they now require one adult supervisor for each / two children. N.B. This rule does not apply to 14 & 15 year olds who are registered at the wall as a competent climber. The dates for this year are: 1st Nov, 6th Dec, 7th Feb & 7th March. Doors open at 5:45. Adults £9 Juniors £7.
So instead, this year we will be visiting some of the best climbing venues in the area.
After school sessions will be at local climbing walls, such as Perth Grammar, AVertical World (Dundee) and Ratho (Edinburgh), The Peak (Stirling), etc. Leaving school at 3:40 Return between 7 and 9pm depending on the venue.

• Tuesday 4th February
Each of these sessions will cost less than £5. Admission fees should be paid direct to the venue. Kit and transport costs will be covered by the Climbing Club.
Saturday sessions will be at outdoor / natural crags e.g. Bennybeg, Kirriemuir, etc. If the weather is bad we will go to an indoor wall instead. Leaving Perth High at 10am. Return approximately 4pm. Bring a big packed lunch, warm drinks and outdoor clothes.

Cost of these sessions is £2 to cover equipment costs. (Paid upon booking please) In the event of bad weather - £2 will be refunded and wall admission of £5 max will need to be paid direct to the venue. Shoe hire / transport costs will be covered by the club.
