London Trip 2012

Every year - just before the timetable change - a group of S1 – S3 pupils have the opportunity to go to London to catch some theatre shows, see some sights and soak up the atmosphere.
This year there were 46 pupils who went on the trip, all from S1 and S2. As well as taking in two West End shows – “We Will Rock You” and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of “The Wizard of Oz” – they also visited The Houses of Parliament where they were allowed to tour and ask questions; participated in a back-stage theatre tour at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; paid a visit to BBC Studios where they got to see all the behind the scenes “magic” and spent some time seeing London itself from the top of the London Eye and the Thames river cruise.
The weather was kind to us and the pupils behaved themselves impeccably.
We received many compliments from tour guides and hotel management regarding the lovely group we had with us this year and we hope everyone had a fabulous time.
