The Travels of Dave Girling (photos added)
Dave Girling, one of the school's Outdoor Education workers, has taken some leave to go adventuring and following his favourite hobby of dangerous kayaking ! His trip has taken him to Uttaranchal, India whitewater kayaking and paragliding in Pokhara Nepal.
We have taken the unusual step of leaving these photos untouched as we think they are pretty unusual.
Some of you may have noticed i have not been around for a few weeks. I have taken some time off to explore the whitewater kayaking that the Uttaranchal region of India has to offer.
Uttaranchal is North of Delhi and west of Nepal.
Writing this from a back street Internet cafe with no writing on the keys, please excuse any spelling errors.
I flew out to Delhi on the 19th of October and in the time between have been fortunate to meet many different people and experience many different cultural phenomnon, from people walking their cows, goats on the roof of the Bus, men fishing from innertubes, being offered a new wife etc.
